This was my penultimate conversation with Marian, the nicest, sweetest, funniest neighbor you could ever have! She was a kind of ‘mom’ to me. Today we were supposed to have a nice farewell party with some neighbors. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, because Marian suddenly passed away on March 20, just a month after the transfer of her home in Veghel. I had wished her so many more beautiful years with her Gert.
Now I really have to miss her and on March 28 I will say goodbye to this great guy for good. Here in the picture with her beloved dog Fleur. I took this picture on a beautiful warm early evening/late afternoon, when we were drinking a port and chatting in front of the house.
I will miss you terribly.
